Dog Days of Summer

Downtown Frederick Maryland

Downtown Frederick goes to the dogs with "Dog Days of Summer", featuring a dog contest, dog friendly stores, animal art & more. The festivities begin at 5pm, with registration and conclude with a Yappy Hour doggie after party. Also enjoy live entertainment, guest artists and extended shopping hours at 80+ downtown stores. A portion of Dog Days proceeds benefit the even't co-organizer, the Frederick County Humane Society.

The 2nd annual Bark in the Park on Sepember 19th will be a fun filled day of events for the whole family, including your pets. There will be contests, demonstrations, vendors, rabies and microchip clinics,and the Paws on the Path walk to benefit the homeless animals at the HSWC. A Blessing of the Animals will take place immediately before the walk at 10 am. Registration begins at 9 am Paws on the Path walk at 10 am and festivities to follow.
