Mary wears many hats at Emmitsburg Veterinary Hospital including inventory manager, computer network administrator and veterinary technician. Having graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from the University of Maryland, she has worked in animal related fields since 1985 and at EVH since 1998.
Married to Andy, an engineer for Bechtel Power Corp. and a small airplane pilot, Mary has one Doberman (Rocca) and one Belgian Malinois (Ex-Man), as well as 7 cats, 2 emus, chickens, and peafowl.
Mary enjoys working with her dogs and participating in the German competitive sport, Schutzhund, a three-phase dog-sport similar to police dog work. She is also the Northeastern Regional Director for the United Doberman Club, President of the Free State Working Doberman Club and Vice-President of the Podium Schutzhund Club.
Beth graduated in 2006 from Wilson College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Veterinary Medical Technology, and a minor in Business. Her work interests include dentistry and she enjoys her contact with so many pets and people.
Her other interests include hiking and training her young Doberman, Vyper. She shares her home with husband Chuck, daughter Holly and son Charlie, as well as another dog, a boxer named Chloe, and two cats.
Theresa has been employed in animal related jobs since 1985, working as a veterinary technician at Emmitsburg Veterinary Hospital since 1997. She earned her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from Northern Virginia Community College.
Theresa is an active member of St. Josephs Church of Emmitsburg. She also volunteers at the Catoctin Pregnancy Center,and the handicap riding program at Camp Green Top where her pony Bristle has met President George W. Bush and received many awards as a therapeutic riding pony.
Theresa is married to Roy and they have three children, Lindsay, Kyle and Tye, as well as 2 horses named Cinder a Farrah, a pony named Bristle, 2 dogs named Flash & Wyatt, 3 cats named Singe Bob, Sponge Bob and Jasmine. Their exotic pets include 2 birds named Darla and Spanky and three fish.
Originally from the Gettysburg area, Jason has worked as a veterinary technician at Emmitsburg Veterinary Hospital since 2002. A graduate of both Pennsylvania State University (with his B.S. Degree in Dairy and Animal Science) and Wilson College (with his A.S. in Veterinary Technology) he is a licensed veterinary technician in the state of PA, also belonging to the North American Veterinary Technician Association.
Involved in both church committees and the Relay for Life, Jason also finds time to volunteer his services as an assistant in Quick Fix (low cost neutering) and microchip clinics. He and his wife Elizabeth have a Great Dane, Sierra Alexis, who recently acquired her AKC Canine Good Citizen award. They also have two cats, Logan and Kahlua.
